The good: comfortable bed and bedding, the Saffron restaurant was very good, and the breakfast was good.
The bad: appears short staffed, no one at the front desk when we arrived, eventually had to call a posted number and the employee said they were on break, and would be back in 20 minutes. Others were waiting and we eventually wandered off. We came back later and were able to check in. Property is looking tired. Parking lot needs resurfaced, landscaping and building needs refurbished, room was worn, and bathroom sink did not drain and stayed full of water for the time we occupied the room. We counted three cockroaches in the bathroom.
Other things to consider: pricing was good through Expedia, great location i.e. close to airport, freeway entrance and off ramp, pretty easy to get downtown and to riverwalk, parks etc. nearby properties also looking sketchy.
I have stayed at a number of Windham properties as I traveled extensively for business before I retired. This was definitely not up to their previous standards.
