'Guys please stay here. You will not regret it. The owner (Rito) met us within 5 minutes on the grounds and had a beer with us. He is Swiss and his wife is Filipina. They live on the property as well which is a bonus (any questions he is right there). He will give you direct answers to any questions and will work with you on any issue.

'I spend 10 days in Marlin Beach resort and enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are bare but spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I arranged for the resort pick and drop off at Cebu airport and all went well and felt very comfortable as a single (female) traveler.'

'The location is great, right at the beach, the staff is nice, the food was good but the rooms are not comfortable at all. For a price of more than 3000 PHP you would not expect a 1 square meter (10 square feet) bathroom. You you have to take a shower in the toilet bowl or sink'

It’s a perfect getaway for families and friends. Even though just one night but it is worth it. There are plenty of activities to enjoy here, especially if you make full use of the services they offer. I love how peaceful it is, it really helps you relax and unwind. The room was huge and the service is excellent.'

'Second time staying at the Maxbelle. Rooms were spotless,grounds were well maintained, pool was awesome. Staff was friendly and again, Amie went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Would definitely recommend this place.'

'No soap , shampoo and toothbrush . But we are prepared. But the beach is very nice your own beach . Far from restaurant but the care taker let us use his motorcycle and we gave him some money for it. '
