The house was warm & inviting when we arrived as we did Xmas in the house. Plenty of private space for 3 small families. House had fireplaces to take the dampness out. A lovely tree was assembled. Hot tub was a treat for all of us while watching a colorful sunset. Hosts were very helpful & accommodating. Could not have been a better place for our needs! Even a winter bar que!

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! The location couldn’t be better — spacious, comfortable, and a beautiful private beach. The expanded deck, hot tub, and new stairs down to the sand were amazing, and definitely worth updating in the photos because they make the place even more special. We arrived to a warm welcome with towels, linens, a highchair, and a pack and play ready to go, which made things so easy. The host was super friendly and very quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Delightful stay on shores Huron for our family of 6 adults!!Cottage was sparkling. Kitchen was well stocked for any of our cooking, bbq'ing! Duo coffee maker/Keurig was a hit!Beds & furniture, inside & out were comfy. Spacious deck was a favourite gathering spot post beach, golfing @ White Squirrel or hiking Mavis/Taylor & Bannockburn trails time for hot-tubing, coffee, cocktails and/or local Bad Apple craft beer/Hessenland wine!Appreciated the clear communications about the sink issue. Plumber solved it & all was well. Guests could read the kitchen notice & use the stoppers to prevent foods&fats from clog-ups3 BR made life easy!! Showers were super! Appreciated the 2 level hand-held shower nozzle in basement BR...85 steps down to beach, 85 up was great training for us 60 folks. Cooling lake dips, gorgeous sunset walks on the warm sand beach made us appreciate those warm showers after!!Centrally located to Bayfield, Grand B, local wineries, breweries, golfing, hiking. restaurants, shopping...For those with mobility issues: 1 step up to kitchen, 1 step down to deck, 1 step up to communal 3rd BR. Once you're accustomed to it...it's a fun round-about to the handy 3rd BR & stairs to basement.2 bedrooms is basement are cozy&comfy. Loads of storage there & upstairs too. Upstairs ensuite is lovely too. Ladies appreciated the artwork & nautical decor touches here & there.Appreciated pet bowls & mat In conclusion, a happy place to hang your hat. We'd return.

Another fine stay!

A second time back to Bluewater Sunset and we had another wonderful stay. The cottage has everything you would want for a fun getaway! We love the big living room area with space for everyone and the huge dining table with plenty of room for everyone to eat or play games. The kitchen is spacious enough to make turkey dinner for a crowd! If I had to make a suggestion for improving our stay, we did find the beds quite firm and a little creaky as you move around. A small upgrade in this area would be appreciated. We did love the big new deck built our back and the steps that allow you to easily access the beach. We will be back!

Wonderful stay!

Great cottage, great location. Water is gorgeous! Only downfall is 80 steps to the beach and then metal ladder to access beach. Harder access for grand parents and large dogs. Otherwise everything is perfect!

It’s a nice place with a great view of the lake, a great little sand beach, and a large property. The cottage is large and was room for all although a couple of the bedrooms were very cramped. We had a great time!

Great Lake Huron Vista!

We loved the deck to sit out and enjoy the property! The private beach is a real plus! Spectacular sunsets! You just need to be able to walk down 80+ steps and climb down a steel ladder to get to the beach. If you are young or old this could be a challenge. We had hoped to have an outdoor fire but the fire pit was full of ash and with the current fires across the province we didn’t feel comfortable at this time. The kitchen is well appointed so you don’t have to bring anything. Good wifi! Close to Grand Bend for easy in and out and a lovely quiet neighbourhood.

Great Holiday

Lots of room for a group of 8 seniors. Dinning table (seats 10) was perfect for us to enjoy our meals, games, and cards. Lots of seating in the living room. Beds were comfortable and the 3 bathrooms were a bonus. Jennifer was in contact upon arrival to make sure all was well. Nice experience and recommend this property. Thanks Jennifer.

Great Cottage, near lake

Bluewater Sunset Cottage was a great experience. Spacious backyard and living room. Kitchen is well equipped. Jennifer is a great host and responds in a reasonable time. Some of the mattresses in basement bedroom and single bed room are uncomfortable. Check in is after 4 and check out is 10 which isn't ideal but not a big issue. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Jennifer for a great Cottage experience.

Great Getaway

This cottage and the surrounding area is Beautiful. There was everything you needed and then some. If you are looking for a quit place with beautiful views, this is where you need to stay. We loved having the 2 Fireplaces, huge Kitchen and comfy living room, with Huge TV. If you are bringing friends and or Family, there is tons of room, with 4 bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms, lots of storage area and huge Dinning room table/with fireplace. The outdoor area was awesome, with large BBQ and extra propane in the shed (we had to look for it), Great Sunsets and access to the Beach. It was everything thing we expected and more.. Hope to stay again soon...
