A clean and comfortable 5 bedroom, 3 bath home boasting over 3,000 square feet of comfortable living, this single family home is perfect for a family or group of friends visiting the Black Hills. This home is located in the quiet community of Summerset, SD, just minutes away from Rapid City and Sturgis, SD, and about a 45 minute drive to Deadwood and Terry Peak.

The home features a king size bed in the master bedroom, 2 queen size beds and two sets of bunk beds, sleeping 6 adults and 4 kids comfortably. There is a living room on the main floor with a fireplace and flat screen and a larger family room with a leather sectional and larger flat screen, perfect for a night in watching movies. There's a full gym in the lower level with a NordicTrack Studio bike and elliptical, weight bench, power rack and heavy bag. High speed mesh WiFi throughout the home will keep you and all your devices, as well as the smart TVs throughout the home connected.

A fully-stocked kitchen (and Keurig) with an island and bar stools is ready for the next home-cooked meal or you can order in from a variety of restaurants that deliver. The kitchen table seats 8 and is perfect for a night eating-in or playing cards or board games. The covered deck off the back of the home is set up with a gas grill, fire table and outdoor dining table for eating outside in the spring, summer and fall. Just below the covered deck is an over-sized stamped (grey barn wood planks) concrete patio and 7 person hot tub with blue-tooth speakers and plenty of lights.

Mount Rushmore, The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Deadwood, Crazy Horse Monument, The Black Hills National Forest, Custer State Park, Devils Tower, The Cosmos Mystery Area, Reptile Gardens, The Badlands, Bear Country, Snow skiing on Terry Peak and so many more attractions are within a one-hour drive, with many of these less than 30 minutes away.

Well-maintained, clean, good location for Black Hills and Badlands. We were 9, so one more chair would have been helpful (bedrooms were completely sufficient) but that's only in the case of an exclusively-adults rental.

Great place to stay

6 adults/1child. A very nice house that has a good floor plan for large families for group of friends It has plenty of space for everyone to spread out; we never felt crowded or each others way. Located in a quiet neighborhood, but still near the major highway so that you can reach the major attractions easily. The house is clean, well stocked and not to far from a Walmart for a quick run if you have forgotten anything.

50th Anniversary Trip

Owner was always responsive and allowed a change of dates when coronavirus was threatening our trip plans. Property is very nice and perfect for our family of 10. Owner had construction going on in basement but had it partitioned off and there was still plenty of room for bedrooms and kids to play. Hot tub and trampoline were a plus. We enjoyed grilling and eating on the deck. We tried taking in all Black Hills activities for which we had time. It was nice to have a comfortable home to land at the end of the day.

Great home for the family

This was our first trip to South Dakota. Communication with Kerry was great from the beginning. She made the process seamless and easy. The home was the perfect size for our party (which consisted of adults and kids). The home was beautiful, clean, and in a nice neighborhood. It was not too far from the main attractions. The home was fully stocked with linens, towels and felt like home. I would recommend this home to families to stay, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Black Hills Hub

We had a great visit to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, the Badlands and Devil’s Tower. We used this house as home base. Everything was just as it shows in the pictures. Clean comfortable beds, nice linens, and all the perks like a hot tub, stocked kitchen and lots of space! The owners were extremely quick to respond and made sure everything was just as we had planned on. The location was the best part. We loved having a relaxing home to come back to after long days of sightseeing. 5 stars! Thank you!!
