'Welcoming and friendly reception with time given to explaining the guesthouse facilities etc. Spotlessly clean room and shower room. Spacious bedroom with walk-in wardrobe for storage. Warm and comfortable. Quality bedlinen. Tea making facilities in room as well as access to guest kitchen for preparing food if required. Delicious breakfast preordered beautifully presented. Good WiFi. Quite simply nothing was too much trouble for Natalie who demonstrates quite clearly that she loves her running...

'I had a wonderful stay at the Bull. The place itself is beautiful and the meals were delicious. The staff were so welcoming and friendly as well. Everything was absolutely perfect. Would be delighted to stay there again when I’m in the area. '

'As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. 'What an amazing place! Beautifully restored, warm, cosy and very welcoming/relaxing and with a fascinating history (used in many films). Helpful attentive staff whilst not being “stuffy” (a pet hate of mine!). Would definitely treat ourselves to a stay here again. '

'Hotel is rustig gelegen, restaurant perfect. Schoonmaak vd kamer is slecht overal lag stof en bij de verwarming lag een dikke laag. Ook de kamer van mijn collega was niet stofvrij. Na melden bij de receptie was s avonds een groot deel vd stof weg alleen het oude stof bij de verwarming lag er nog. Zeker geen bestemming voor iemand met allergie tegen huisstofmijt'

'Prima hotel, wij hadden kamer met badkamer. Vrij ruime kamer met koffie en theefaciliteiten. Badkamer met douche in bad. De straal is niet heel sterk dus je moet wel even zoeken naar de straal. Ontbijt is helemaal goed ze maken van alles voor je. Wel vroeg van 7 tot 9. Onze kamer was 2e nacht niet schoongemaakt dus zelf even schone handdoeken geregeld. Maar zo voor 1 of 2 nachten prima op doorreis. In de buurt niet veel wel aan drukke weg en wel goede parkeerplekken . Eigenaar zeer vriendelijk...

'Zeer vriendelijk personeel, heel behulpzaam. Hadden family room met bedbank. Waren met 4 personen (ouders met 2 oudere kinderen). Er kon snel een extra verrijdbaar bed worden geregeld. Bedbank is namelijk niet geschikt voor 2 oudere kinderen. Ook niet heel comfortabel om op te liggen. Volgende dag kregen we 2 extra dekbedden om op te liggen. Ontbijt ook prima. Koffie/thee/zeep/voldoende handdoeken/badjas op kamer'
