Silvia Vacation Rental

Nestled between the
Untersberg, the Götschen, and the Lattengebirge—including the “Hexe”—this
vacation rental is located in a sunny, quiet location in Bischofswiesen Winkl, on the top floor
of an apartment building with a garden. From the south-facing balcony of the vacation apartment, you have a view of the Untersberg, the Kehlsteinhaus, Hoher Göll, and Jenner, and from the north-facing balcony, a view of the “Hexe.” The garden is available to all residents. There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity
that takes you (free of charge with the guest card)
directly to Berchtesgaden (approx. 7 km), to Königssee (approx. 12 km), or to
Bad Reichenhall (11 km), from where you can continue on to Salzburg,
Ramsau, the Obersalzberg, or Munich, for example., If you
enjoy cycling, the Königssee
– Lake Constance Bike Path, which runs past there, also takes you to these destinations. Within walking distance (about 800 m), you’ll find a large shopping center with supermarkets (Edeka, Aldi), a drugstore, as well as clothing and sports stores. Just a few steps from the house
the Maximilian Riding Trail invites you to take leisurely walks. You can hike directly
from the house to the Untersberg (1,972 m), Götschenkopf (1,307 m), and Karkopf (1,738 m)
—provided you’re in good physical condition. An outdoor swimming pool with a view of the Watzmann is just a 6-minute drive (4.6 km) away. In winter, you have the opportunity to hike on cleared winter trails, go downhill skiing, go ski touring, or cross-country skiing on groomed trails. Your hosts will be happy to provide you with tips and information on hikes, bike tours, and excursions in the area.

mountains. A washing machine and dryer can be used by arrangement and for a fee. All rooms are non-smoking areas. You are welcome to smoke on the balconies. Pets are not allowed. The
vacation rental is not wheelchair accessible.

refrigerator with a 4-star freezer compartment, coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave,
pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, and other kitchen utensils, dish soap,
dishcloths, kitchen towels, dishwasher tablets, and cleaning supplies.
There are many tourist highlights
in the area around Bischofswiesen. These include, in particular, the
Berchtesgaden National Park with its lakes, mountains, alpine pastures, and the
breathtaking scenery and nature; the Berchtesgaden Salt Mine; the
Obersalzberg with its documentation center, which vividly conveys the history
of the Third Reich; Salzburg, the city of Mozart, with its beautiful
downtown area, the cathedral, the castle, the Salzburg Zoo, Hellbrunn Palace, etc.;
Bad Reichenhall with its flower-filled spa gardens, the pedestrian zone, the
Predigstuhlbahn aerial cableway up to the Predigtstuhl, and Lake Thumsee. Destinations worth visiting that are a bit farther away include, for example, Lake Chiemsee with Herrenchiemsee Palace and Munich. Those who simply want to take it easy can relax at the Watzmanntherme
(Berchtesgaden) or the Rupertus Therme (Bad Reichenhall).
Our love for nature and
the mountains is what prompted us—Ingrid Reichenberger and Herbert Schwainberger—
to move from Munich to Bischofswiesen. Since 2024, we’ve been welcoming
guests fromand abroad to our beautiful Klausgraben vacation rental with
a terrace and, starting in September 2026, to our very spacious Silvia vacation rental
with two balconies. We are delighted when our guests feel at home with us and share our enthusiasm for the Berchtesgadener Land, its residents, and this unique natural setting.
