The space

The full kitchen is set for real cooking, with stainless steel appliances, a full size refrigerator, an oven, a stove, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a full set of cookware and dishes.

The full bathroom has a walk in shower, a vanity, towels, a hair dryer, and starter toiletries. The studio also has an in unit washer and dryer, central air and heating, blackout curtains, and closet storage, with secure building entry and an elevator.

You have the full studio to yourself for your stay, plus access to the building fitness center and the shared workspace on the mezzanine. You have self check in, with secure building entry and an elevator, and your full arrival instructions are sent before your stay. There are no other guests in your studio.

The neighborhood

This studio sits in the heart of downtown Birmingham, one of the most walkable parts of the city and steps from UAB and the medical district, a strong fit for traveling medical staff and business guests. Railroad Park, the city`s signature green space, and Regions Field, where the Birmingham Barons play, are both a short walk, and the Pizitz Food Hall puts dozens of local kitchens under one roof nearby.

There is a lot within reach. The Avondale bar and brewery scene, the Alabama and Lyric Theatres, McWane Science Center, the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and 16th Street Baptist Church, and Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark are all minutes away, with the Birmingham Museum of Art and Vulcan Park close by. Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport is about twelve minutes by car.

Getting around

Downtown Birmingham is walkable, so much of what you need is on foot from the door. For parking, you can use street parking around the building, free Monday through Friday from 6 PM to 8 AM and on weekends, or the paid 4th Avenue Deck across the street. Rideshare through Uber and Lyft is quick to catch, and UAB and the medical district are minutes away. Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport is about twelve minutes by car.

Other things to note

A few details to know before booking. There are exterior security cameras on the property for safety, and there are no interior cameras. This is a downtown building near restaurants and nightlife, so you may hear some normal city sounds. Quiet hours run from 9 PM to 8 AM. Guests must be 21 or older to book. The fitness center, mezzanine workspace, and lobby are shared building spaces, and lobby refreshments are managed by building staff and are not included with your stay. This is a non smoking studio, parties and events are not allowed, no pets, and maximum occupancy is two guests.

Important details

Refundable Damage Deposit (Direct and VRBO Guests Only): A $250 refundable damage deposit is required and will be returned after your stay if no damage or rule violations occur. The hold release after check-out can take approximately 3-10 business days.

Rental Agreement: To ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we require a rental agreement to be completed prior to check-in. If this step is not completed, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
Local Guest Approval: Reservations for local guests require prior approval. Please contact us before booking and provide the reason for your stay. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation until it is approved.

Events/Parties: NO PARTIES or LARGE EVENTS of any sort are allowed. If you are caught having a party, you will be fined $500.

Noise Complaints: Noise must be kept to a minimum, especially between the quiet hours of 9 PM and 8 AM. A $150 fee will be charged if a noise complaint is received.

Security Cameras: Any tampering with the outdoor cameras will result in a $150 fee per camera/violation and immediate eviction without a refund.

Guest Contact: Refrain from contacting neighbors or the leasing office. Failure to comply will result in the immediate termination of your reservation.

Smoking: No smoking or vaping indoors or on the property. A $250 fine will apply for any violations.

Lobby Refreshments: Guests are welcome to use the building amenities; however, please note that lobby refreshments are monitored by building management and are not free. Taking advantage of these refreshments will result in a $100 fee.

Guests: Only registered guests are allowed on the property. Extra guests will incur a $35 fee each.

Minors: All guests under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. This includes the use of any amenities.

No Pets Allowed: A $200 fine will be applied for any violations.

Late Checkouts: Unapproved late check-outs are charged $100 per hour past 10 AM.

Bathroom: Flush toilet paper only. Do not flush sanitary items, wet wipes, paper towels, or diapers.

Cleaning & Maintenance: $50 fee for makeup stains, blood, or throw-up found on bed sheets, comforters, or pillows.

Keys and Access Items: A $100 fee will apply for each misplaced key, key fob, electronic key card, clicker, or parking pass.

Parking Violations: You will have assigned parking arrangements outlined in your check-in instructions. All parking violations will result in towing at your expense and a $50 fee per violation.
