It's welcoming and comfortable but what really makes it stand out is the location in the heart of Wanlockhead, Scotland's Highest village, which is only 6 miles from the M74 and only 1 hour from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Carlisle. Fantastic views, breath-taking walks which will leave you deeply envious of the locals. Wanlockhead is also part of the SWC 300.
The space
Please be aware this is a converted miners cottage and some of the bedrooms are in the attic space.

Other things to note
Pets allowed max 2 medium sized dogs (charge applies, payable direct. Guests must let us know on booking.) - No pets on the furniture or in bedrooms and on beds. All wet dogs must be thoroughly dried before entering the cottage.

Please note that we have a travel cot but this must be requested at the time of booking.

A £150 refundable security deposit is required - this is a hold on your credit card, which is only charged in the event of any damage, or additional cleaning required.
