Montgomery Barn at High Park, Indoor Pool

  • Deze ruime 2 slaapkamer 2 verhaal schuur is onlangs verbouwd transformeren in een ideale luxe ontspannen uitje. The Barns at High Park werden oorspronkelijk gebouwd in de late jaren 1800 en zijn gelegen in het hart van de Noord-Devon kust. Het biedt eenvoudig toegang tot de stranden, heide, kustpad wandelingen, fietspaden, golfbanen, tuinbouw tuinen, kindvriendelijk funparks, en vele andere traditionele outdoor en indoor recreatieve activiteiten voor diegenen die een echt ontspannen, maar toch actief, breken met de stress van de dag-tot-dag leven.

    Deze schuur ligt met 14 acres van eigen grond met een beveiligde toegang via elektrische poorten. Op het terrein is een toegankelijke grote natuurlijke vijver met prachtige vegetatie, meer dan 200 vissen en een boot huis.

    Deze schuur beschikt over een massief eiken, super kingsize bed in de slaapkamer, alle nieuwe massief eiken meubels en trappen, leren banken, verzonken LED-verlichting en vloerverwarming.

    De stal is hondvriendelijk en je bent van harte welkom om ze te brengen voor £ 25 voor de eerste hond en £ 15 per hond voor elke extra hond.

Our Stay

We found the accommodation very comfortable, lovely views and the pool was excellent and so good to have it to ourselves on a timetable. The location is near local attractions and there are also nearby shops to facilitate the stay. Would certainly recommend this location, thank you.

Great self-catering accommodation and pool

This was our fourth stay at High Park Barns. We really enjoy the peaceful rural location and proximity to the South West coastal path. The swimming pool is also a big draw, especially for days when the weather is unpredictable. We expect to return next year if we can.

Beautifully equipped Barn

Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation, in a lovely setting just a few minutes drive from the beaches and the shops. Very well looked after and with the pool made for a very relaxing stay. We all loved it, especially our dog.

Perfect family getaway in amazing location

Spent a week here during Easter break with our 6 and 10 year old. We all absolutely loved our stay and were sad to leave. The pool is amazing and hot tub is great to relax in after long walks on windy beaches and the likes. Our hosts were tremendous answering all our queries and giving us advice on the local area. The whole place is extremely dog friendly, we could just open our door in the morning and let the dogs have a run around whilst we made breakfast as well as a dog field you can use at certain times in the morning and evening. All in all perfect break, amazing hosts and amazing area. Thanks for having us!

Great stay at Montgomery Barn

We had a lovely stay at Montgomery Barn. We had everything we needed. Location was great, we had all the supermarkets literally 5 mins down the road. We had fresh milk just down the road from the neighbors at the Milkiosk. The pool and hot tub were great. Absolutely fabulous hosts. Highly recommend and being able to take our big fur baby was a bonus.

Stunning properties and facilities

What an amazing place to stay. The location, the view, the facilities and the friendly and approachable owners. The accommodation is beautiful and so welcoming with the little added touches making you feel instantly welcomed and at home. A hidden gem that we will definitely be returning to next year. Beautiful place to stay with great hosts

Great stay. The accommodation was perfect and facilities awesome. The location is perfect with the beach and lovely villages within a 10 min drive. Also plenty of shops within a 5 min drive. The pool and hot tub were a god send with the kids! Will be booking for next year!!

Our second stay here. As expected but enhanced by great weather. Clean accommodation with excellent facilities. Pool and jacuzzi fantastic - especially nice to have private daily session. Instow beach great for dogs. Will definitely return.

Beautiful mini break

We had the most fabulous relaxing stay at high park barn, we stayed in Montgomery bark and can highly recommend. It’s so peaceful and quiet, the fixtures in the barn are all so high quality and the welcome milk and scones were such a lovely surprise. The pool and timetable set up worked brilliantly and we made good use of it each day. Location is spot on with gorgeous beaches really close by. We’ll definitely be returning again in the not so distant future!

Beautiful peaceful setting with wonderful view

Beautiful well equipped barns with a view that would be sufficient on its own! I could just sit looking out all day! Very friendly welcoming hosts. It feels 'away from everything' but only a 5 minute drive to retail park. (Too far to walk to though, you definitely need a car.) Beautiful places to visit, all short drives away. Smashing retreat, very dog friendly, would definitely recommend! Thank you to Ann-Louise & Paul!
