'My drive up was weird when I saw 2 police cars in the drive way. It was because they were rolling a dead body out of it. You’re greeted by someone behind bulletproof glass. The floors are all cracked and falling apart. The furniture in the room was outdated and sticky. The bathroom door was cracked and held together with contact paper with a door print design on it. 'I had issues with food and room charges when I went to the front desk they said they were not part of the restaurant so I would have to discuss the issue with them. Which I did the restaurant staff were excellent and did resolve the issue. However when I checked out the front desk said there were not additional charges and they would email the receipt. 'This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.'
