'One of the best hotels Ive encountered in over a month of traveling! Very well maintained and a very kind and helpful staff. Up to Western standards for anybody traveling from abroad who have high expectations in terms of cleanliness and enclosed showers that doesnt get the bathroom totally soaked which a huge plus for me. Would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers who seek comfort and hospitality! I had a wonderful stay!'

'Excellent hotel, large and clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and made our stay really enjoyable. We also were able to store our luggage for a week since we were doing the ABC hike. '

'So nice hotel clean and good service healthy breakfast'

'Goed familie hotel.

'I' ve been in many hotels and guesthouses in Kathmandu. I had a most pleasant stay with my wife and young son for 4 nights. Friendly staff and servants. Will come back for sure'

'An exceptional heritage property that just oozes charm and uniqueness. Everything about the Baber Mahal was wonderful, the location, the room, and the unique setting with a courtyard full of individual shops and restaurants aside of the hotel’s main dining. The spa offers great (not too inflated) treatments and the pool a lovely addition for a quick cool off. A wonderful sanctuary in the middle of Kathmandu and we will certainly return.'

'Ashish at reception is like a maestro/ making sure everything is working, guests are happy, etc. he does an awesome job! He has done challenges to work with, such as excessive noise from within the hotel due to an open staircase. It starts about 6:30 am with Oreo for Brfk down in the lobby ( all way up to higher levels) and really continues all day. Noise from outside is minimal. Breakfast is a nice selection. Bathroom is very small- two people don’t fit. Needs a bit of sprucing up; water noise...

'Heerlijk gegeten. Bediening was zeer behulpzaam.

'this is my second time staying at this hotel. location is perfect and the room are very cheap. always hot water and free wifi in the room. staffs are very friendly and always in for a chat. this have also a very nice rooftop where u can sit, read or just chat with other quest. for sure i will go back to this hotel. krishna'

'Excellent vibe. Great value for money '

'Amazing!'
