'The young man at the front desk wasn’t a very happy person. I didn’t like putting a $50 deposit down -if I’m gonna take something, it isn’t gonna be from a motel room. The beds were really too soft and the bottom floor smelt musty, but it was clean.'

'The room was clean but the shower stall base was unsteady. As you took your shower the floor of the shower rocked and creaked. The breakfast was okay. The rooms were not as soundproof as desirable. 'We were welcomed politely, but right away were told we could not have the room we booked in advance: we had called in advance in the morning as was mentioned we should do before checking in. During booking , we knew we could bring a pet , with paying a fee, which was fine with us. During our call that morning, the person who answered our call, stated we would not have the room with the view over the valley , but a different room in the hotel and the the security fee for the dog was $100. 'Fantastic 4 night stay. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Just what we needed. The hot tub was our favorite even though it was chilly out, we made good use of it, the local shops are great. Found some cool stuff to take back home, wild life is amazing to watch. We saw an owl, a hawk catch a fish out the pond, black squirrels, and a cardinal that visited us numerous times a day. We will be back! '

'The room was moldy, I had to leave the room due to the mold since I am allergic to mold. Contacted for a refund, which the hotel denied. Drug invested area, cars parked on the road beside the hotel, pulled out lawn chairs and were drinking on the side of the road. Very un safe area and dirty hotel. 'The first time I stayed here was really nice. I was upgraded to a suite and it was nice. This time I was disappointed. I understand it is a 2-star hotel however it should still be a wonderful experience. The room was very muggy and had a strong mildew smell. It had a dehumidifier in it which the rooms should not need. I had to keep it on and it was really loud. I had to empty it every 12 hours. The carpet was moist from the humidity. The were pillows old. Wasn't the best. Customer service great!'

'I asked to see the room prior to paying There are no coffee machines. No ice machines towels ARE VERY USED, 1 small bar of soap. No ADA ROOMS 2 towels vert ratty ,2 hand towels, 2 wash cloths. Tub is from the 80's as are the 2 handle tub valves. Diverter spout sticks in up position ( found out hard way). Shower head is from 80's. Price Pfister.
