Enjoy your Summer Beach Retreat at this Spacious Cottage located on 1 acre of land that is 3 blocks walking distance to Newcomb Beach .....1 of 5 Lake Michigan beaches on the North Side of South Haven.
Freshly repainted throughout Dec, 2023.

The yard is spacious with gardens, and lots of children's play space.
Viewing nature at it's finest, often deer & wild turkeys are seen in the back yard!

And, you can easily walk a few blocks to see a beautiful, picturesque sunset over
Lake Michigan! A nice path for riding bikes is across the street so you can ride
or walk to the Lake and nearby subdivision with your family... basketball courts
are close by also at Baseline Middle School for older children

Such a wonderful stay! We had the best time and close proximity to the beach and town was a plus. The host was just awesome. When we came in she a a welcoming sign for my friends and I . The rooms were clean and we loved that we all had our own bed. The communicate was solid and gave the best recommendations for things to do or places to eat in town. Thank you!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The house was perfect—quiet, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed. We rented bikes and loved being able to ride into town, or take a nice morning walk for coffee. At first, I was a little hesitant about the location, but I’m so glad we went with this place—the location turned out to be absolutely perfect for us. Highly recommend!

Great Property

This was our 2nd stay at this property. That should tell you that Griffin Point is a great place that you would want to come back to. Close to beaches and to town which has great restaurants, shops, etc. Beautiful beaches where you can see beautiful sunsets within walking distance. Great location!!

This was my family’s first time in Michigan. We wanted to stay for a few days and came across this home that was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and the home was in the perfect location for a quick trip to north beach. We would love to stay at this location again in the future.

Great Stay in South Haven

This was the perfect time of year to come stay! We had great, cool weather. The walk down the beach was quick and easy. We played in the backyard and drove into town. It takes about 45-60 minutes to get to Grand Rapids and 30 minutes up to Holland to see the tulips. Overall a great stay and a comfortable home to sleep and spend time.

Lovely Property

We had a lovely stay at this property. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The home had everything we needed for our stay. The beach was a short walk away and the community is safe. You must try Sherman’s ice cream while there.

Great Lake Property

We had a great weekend celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday. The house was cozy and a short walk to the lake and beach. Great yard with 2 fire pits and yard games to pass the time. Also a short walk to town to get coffee and food. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Getaway

What a GREAT property! We loved the warm welcome with a little chalk sign! The beach-themed décor made us feel that vacation vibe right away. Our little ones absolutely loved seeing the wildlife that visited the yard each day: deer, turkeys, and even a ground hog. The beds were comfortable and the couches gave us a great hangout to watch TV together. The location is excellent, being just a quick drive to downtown, but being away so that it could also be quiet. The walk to Newcomb Beach is easy and doable for the 4 year old. It was obvious that the hosts genuinely care about their guests having a wonderful experience! We will be back for sure!!

Cozy Cottage on the edge of town

We loved our stay here! Super close to Newcome beach which was less crowded than the other options near by. The quiet setting was relaxing and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the yard. We look forward to returning!

Family vacation

Our family has vacationed in South Haven for the past 10 years. This was our first year staying on the North side of the beach and we loved it! It was close proximity to the water but also secluded and private. Plenty of space for a family of 6 and very clean and well kept. Large yard for the kids to play and we loved seeing all the deer, wild turkeys and bunnies throughout the day! I would just suggest bringing your own toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags and household essentials. We were not prepared for that. Great stay!

Excellence all around

Griffin Pointe is a great place to stay in South Haven. The location is great. It's a short drive or walk to several beaches, parks, fabulous restaurants (Taste) and shops. The house is very clean and has everything you need. We had four girls in our group. We each had our own bed, and it was great to have 2 full bathrooms! Sitting out on the deck we saw 2 deer and a buck in the yard. I would highly recommend Griffin Pointe for your stay in South Haven.

Property was clean, had a good kitchen, and was in a quiet location. Enjoyed being close enough to walk to the beach without having to be downtown South Haven. Railing on the deck was made of rope and not very secure.
