I booked two hotel rooms at this hotel for the night of Thursday, Dec. 11th, 2025, for my employees. After about an hour and a half in his room, one of my employees felt something crawling on him to discover a massive bed bug. Upon closer inspection, he saw many more very tiny bed bugs as well. He quickly went to the lobby to report the issue, however the person on staff did not seem very surprised or concerned and simply gave him a key to a new room.
I reached out to Choice Hotels to report the incident, and tell them that I did not intend to leave a review until I gave them a fair chance to address the issue, and this was the response I got:
"Hello ****,
Thank you for reaching us. We regret to learn about the issues your employees experienced during their recent stay. Please accept our sincere regret for this unpleasant situation. This is not the level of care we strive to provide, and we want to address the matter as quickly as possible.
To ensure a thorough review, we kindly ask that (MY EMPLOYEE) send us an email referencing Case 13230504. In that email, he may include the pictures in PDF or JPEG format so our internal team can conduct a detailed review and implement improvements.
Please note that we are unable to process a monetary refund. However, we are committed to reviewing this case carefully and providing a resolution that reflects our standards of service.
We look forward to receiving Mr. **** email and working toward a resolution.
