B&B in Bembridge

'There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. Nice bar area. Breakfast was included (continental) but they did offer boiled eggs or bacon bap or sausage bap in the morning.'

'This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there.'

'This place is overrated, dated, unclean. Friendly staff but it is quite far from the town centre and it feels more like it is about how you as a customer can help the staff - it is about their needs, not yours as a customer.'

'The breakfast was excellent but wasn't at the Lady Hamilton it was 2 doors down. The double room was tiny, more suited to a single room. There was a very small space between the wall and the bed and care was needed not to nudge the kettle on the way past. No space for furniture although a hanging rail and a few shelves were behind a curtain. There was a stool. To exit the property there was a steep staircase and a fire door that shut behind you. 'The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. 'We hadden een ruime kamer met WC en bad. Het zag er allemaal prima uit, en superschoon. De bedden waren goed, maar vreemd genoeg was de ene matras veel dikker dan de andere, zodat het voor twee zware mensen misschien minder prettig is. Ontbijt is niet bij de prijs inbegrepen, maar voor 4 pond beschikbaar, en uitstekend.'
