'Tucked away at the top of the village this little cottage was comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice, it's great place. A lovely walk to Kilmartin (20 minutes if you find an overgrown shortcut through the back wood). My top tip, take birdseed for the feeders and breakfast becomes a fantastic show of local birdlife.'

'Sadly we only had a very short 1 evening stay at this beautiful location. We would have enjoyed more time here. In that short time we received above and beyond care. I asked where we might be able to find ice when checking in. The nearest market was already closed for the evening. Olwen from reception was so nice. She said she couldn’t promise, but her husband might be able to help. An hour or so later her husband knocked on the door with our special delivery. So incredibly kind. Thank you...
