Hôtel près de Bâtiment historique Shire Hall (Monmouth)

« Great welcome easy check in and friendly team 😁. We arrived late after a long drive - the venue is an old pub with rooms. We navigated our way to the top floor room. As we arrived Halloween weekend we thought the dust and cobwebs in the room were part of the theme. 👻 The carpet around the bed and doors hadn’t been hoovered for months. A layer of dust was on all the light fittings and cobwebs everywhere - bed and pillows weren’t great and we could hear the noise from the high street, boy...

« On the plus side the staff were friendly, the price good, the bed comfy and the parking free. On the negative side, everything looked a bit shabby, doors were dirty, the window in the bedroom didn’t close properly and when a heavy burst of rain occurred water was flowing into the bedroom. The plugs didn’t all work, the television was hung on a wonk, the light was broken and hanging off the wall. I was woken throughout the night with people banging doors and then at 6am was a fire alarm, I left...

« Fantastic hotel and pub, very cosy and set in a fab location. The room we stayed in was delightful, very large with great amenities. Food was very tasty and the breakfast was plentiful and hot with a good variety of continental and hot breakfast items to choose from (full English including veggie option). Great to have onsite parking too. Will definitely be back thanks! »

« La chambre était grande et confortable avec une vue sur le paysage et la couché du soleil. Nous avons aussi apprécié la gentillesse du personnel. Le restaurant n'est pas cher, heureusement.. »

« Room not aging well. Stained carpet. Bed linen clean. Towels clean. Shower ok. »

« Lovely hotel, cosy feel »

« The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoyed a delicious Indian breakfast which made a nice change, and my daughter enjoyed her...

« Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return. »

« Je reste ici souvent pour le travail, j ai déjà relevé plusieurs fois »

« Beautiful house gardens and surrounding.the rooms are sympathetically restored with stylish interiors.comfy bed and good shower and great breakfast »

« The room was lovely and big, bathroom very clean and staff all friendly. About a half an hour bus from Hereford town. There was an issue with the wifi in the room though, so had to use my data to work remotely. »

« great place to stay , very friendly husband and wife team, fresh hot cook breakfast, good recomendation for Take »

« Quirky property, lovely log fire, helpful staff. Good food. Dogs very well catered for. Would have preferred a groundfloor room, which was originally allocated, but ended up in a first floor room. Lot of noise from heavy traffic at the rear of the property which can be heard in the room »

« Parfait pour une nuit courte et départ le lendemain matin tôt »

« Very friendly and helpful. Last minute booking. Room was comfortable, with a huge bed!. »

« Un hôtel très surprenant dans ce coin magnifique du pays de Galles. Le décor de l'hôtel est absolument extraordinaire (au sens étymologique du terme), d'une modernité incroyable et d'un confort dans tous les détails, détails "design" qui parfois sont au rebours de bon sens. Une sorte de fantasme d'architecte, jusqu'au plus petit détail. Demeure que ce niveau de design n'est pas forcément le type d'environnement cosy et infiniment plus chaleureux que le client peut attendre dans un environnement...

« Beautiful setting right on the river with a very friendly staff team and clean and well appointed rooms. It’s not luxurious but everything is thought through and it’s clean. Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay. Food was very good - very nice cooked breakfast and I had one evening meal which was very generous. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and the staff...

« Très bien situé au centre de Coleford, très jolie petite ville hors du temps. Parking gratuit a proximité. Car sinon on entend...
