« Had a wonderful stay here. Incredibly personal touch from all the staff referring to me by my name, which made me feel very comfortable. An incredible property rich in history, with a modern, well-equipped room to compliment it. Food options were extensive and delicious. Breakfast was great, very high quality, and very attentive staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. »

« Staff were impeccable. Food excellent. Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character. »

« Perfect spot to visit York and surroundings. Place is useful. Parking plenty of EV pods. A shopping centre close to the hotel allows all food breaks. »

« Very nice and confortable hotel, and well located. The rooms and the place itself is in a classic british style. Breakfast is very nice and it is cooked on demand, which in my opinion may be a down-side, if you're not willing to spend 45 minutes for the breakfast (which esa my case most of the days as I was in a work stay). »
