'I had a wonderful stay at Haka House Lake Tekapo. From the moment I arrived, the experience was excellent. Molly at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She gave me a very detailed and patient introduction to the hotel, the surrounding area, and all the things to do in Tekapo. She even explained where to shop and how to get around, which was extremely helpful for a first-time visitor. Her friendly and thoughtful service really made me feel welcomed. 'Loved the roomy cabin, had a fridge and microwave kitchen table and chairs, and kitchen sink. Great for making small meals. Missing some toilet paper but called the after hours number and they delivered within a few minutes! Dryer doesn't dry too well, needed 2 tries to dry a load. $4 to wash, $8 to dry! Otherwise the room was lovely and clean and we had the most amazing view of mt cook. '

There is windows next to the front door that light comes in all night and first thing in the morning even though they have great black out drapes on patio windows. '
