'Very happy with our stay at Occidental Tamarindo! First, the staff, I’ve never felt so welcomed any where else. Plenty of food and drinks. Clean rooms and facility in general. Entertainment team made a huge effort every single night and was really appreciated by us. They go above and beyond in every show with whatever resources they have. 'Mooi resort. Service had er iets meer boven op mogen zitten bij binnenkomst bij zo'n luxe resort. Koffers werden niet aangenomen wisten niet waar we naar toe moesten. Inchecken was zakelijk. Twee keer moeten vragen om een extra bed. Verdere service geweldig. '

Zeer mooi zwemdok, dat dagelijks gereinigd werd, maar men zou de ontbrekende mozaiksteentjes in het dok toch moeten vervangen vooraleer het een verouderde indruk geeft.We hadden wel verwacht dat het hotel in Tamarindo aan het water zou liggen wat niet het geval is, zodat we 's avonds niet veel konden doen.'

'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'Het Hotel ligt op een mooie plek aan het strand met veel groen. Goede ontvangst. Vriendelijk personeel en kleinschalig. Jammer dat het restaurant matig was en de badkamer sterk verouderd, waardoor het ook niet echt goed schoon te krijgen is(voegen en kapotte tegels) Een klamboe zou ook wel fijn zijn!'

'The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. They really made me feel important the whole time. Everything was very clean and I was able to check in early and check out late. The location is very convenient to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Being an Adults Only hotel was a BIG bonus. I booked the K Suite with an outdoor bath and shower on the very secluded patio. 'Heerlijk hotel, prachtig zicht over de Stille Oceaan (de kamer die we geboekt hadden, een echte aanrader wanneer je de prijs bekijkt. De kamer is schoon en verzorgd. Het zwembad is prettig om te gebruiken, zeker bij de daar heersende temperaturen (30° <> 35°) Het "restaurant" is niet om over naar huis te schrijven maar dat wordt weer goed gemaakt door de zeer goede restaurants in de directe omgeving van het hotel.
