Tucked at the base of Sugar Mountain, Hearthside Haven puts you a short 200-yard walk from the ski slopes, close enough to leave the car parked all weekend. Walk over to the Sugar Ski clubhouse for lift tickets, ice skating, tubing, or a cup of hot cocoa, then head back to a warm, comfortable home base when the day is done.

The condo is perfect for families and groups. The primary bedroom has a king bed, both guest bedrooms have queen beds, and the loft has two twin beds, making it a favorite spot for kids. Every bedroom and the loft have its own TV, and with two full bathrooms, mornings run smoothly even with a full house.

Evenings center around the stone gas fireplace in the open living area, the heart of Hearthside. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for big breakfasts and family dinners, and an in-unit washer and dryer makes longer stays easy. Step out onto the private deck with your morning coffee and look right out over Sugar Mountain’s ski school and beginner slopes. It’s a peaceful spot to watch skiers make their way down the mountain, or to keep an eye on the little ones during their lessons, with Grandfather Mountain rising in the distance and the sounds of the woods and creek all around you.

Hearthside Haven isn’t just for ski season. Summer brings hiking, golf, mountain biking and perfect temperatures. In the Fall, enjoy the fall festivals, pumpkin patches and some of the best leaf-peeping in the High Country.
