The host was very welcoming, communicative and responsive. The apartment is decorated in an attractive mid-century style. It is close to many restaurants and bars. However, it is listed as a waterfront property, which is not accurate. The main photo is a huge kitchen and a wall of windows with a view. This is not part of the apartment and is accessed thru 2 doors outside the apartment. Every chair we sat in was rickety and we had to tighten all the screws. And while countertops and other surfaces were clean, the cuffs of my white pajama bottoms were filthy after walking around for just a few hours. Clearly the floor is not being cleaned. We were disappointed in the quality, the cleanliness, and we found the description of the property quite misleading. Also, the neighbors were outrageously loud and disturbed our evening. I’m sorry to be so negative, but this was our experience, and the 10 out of 10 ratings we saw were not at all our experience, so we wish to correct the record.
