'If you like bird watching and going for a walk in a pristine nature, then it is probably the best place within a short distance from Entebbe airport. The easiest way to get to Buvi Lodge is by boat from Entebbe. Ask the hotel to send a boat to pick you up at the harbour, where the ferry goes to Nakiwogo. The resort is very isolated, but you do not have to worry about being ripped for money in the restaurant. I paid 10 US$ for a big pepper steak with fries and a pint of beer. The food is tasty...

'Bij aankomst op luchthaven staat er netjes iemand op je te wachten die ook nog eens naar een wisselkantoor wil rijden nadat je vraag of er 1 in de buurt is, personeel van het hotel super aardig en vrolijk en snel, kamer geweldig alleen onze jacuzzi werkte niet dus beetje teleurgesteld omdat we daar wel voor betaald hebben. 'Avoid!! Hotel in great location and should have been nice BUT.... I don't normally write reviews but this place was a nightmare from the start. On my arrival at 10.30pm from the airport, reception showed me to a tiny dark room with no view rather than the double dulux with lake view I'd booked. They told me Expedia had not paid them enough, my booked room wasn't available and this is all I could have - what a scam! The place was empty and the excuse was an obvious lie. Refused to accept the room...
