Sunrise Oasis was perfect for our work retreat. We especially loved the water view, well stocked and marked kitchen and the gas fireplace which kept us cozy through a couple days of downpour. I highly recommend!

Wonderful house and location. We have stayed at over 20 Vrbos and we all thought this was our favorite. Very easy to get to Seattle on the ferry and a beautiful drive to Olympic National Park. Great restaurants on Bainbridge and in nearby Poulsbo.

Relaxing Retreat

Sunrise Oasis was the perfect relaxing weekend retreat for my husband and me. Booking and communications were prompt and clear. Check-in was easy. The bright orange front door is a cheerful welcome. The house is nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen (with a view!) is well-appointed - we made several meals there and appreciated the complimentary coffee in the mornings. The master bedroom is very comfortable. The best part? The deck - well, it's simply lovely! The water view is beautiful - especially at sunrise. (I know we're supposed to sleep in on vacation but the sunrise was worth it.) We ate dinner al fresco on the deck several evenings. There's a grill for BBQing. The late April weather was a bit crisp but the ambiance was worth it. This was our first trip to Bainbridge Island and we will be back. We ventured just down the road to do a wine tasting at Rolling Bay and shopped at Bay Hay & Feed. We followed the hosts' recommendation for Via Rosa 11, a charming Italian market & restaurant with a personable owner and friendly staff. We had pizza to go the first evening and then went back a few days later to get a bolognese lasagna to cook back at the house - delicious! We toured the island, did some hiking at Fort Ward and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Wonderful home and very responsive hosts

I would have rated this a 5 star stay, with the exception of the stove! I hate to do that, but it was problematic. I know there were some instructions, but it still was a puzzle that took us some time to figure out. One of the last things we figured out was that you had to use the right pans that were appropriate to use on this stove. We first had a large pot to cook spaghetti but could not get the stove to work with that on it. Finally tried another pot and that one worked. Just had never seen a stove like that so took us oldsters some time to figure it all out. Other than that, the home was comfy for the 5 of us and certainly had everything you need for a getaway. We did a lot of cooking and everything was there that we needed. The beds were comfy, and the view was wonderful. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Spectacular Sunrise

The house and its aesthetics lend to a calm, relaxing environment! The view is is simply stunning and everyone could view it at the same time- very large open deck with ample comfy seating and dual sliding glass door make it possible to enjoy view from interior as well. Every part of this stay was excellent- from communication. with owners- check in and check out process and house amenities! Wonderful get away!

Stunning home

The very well-equipped, renovated house impresses with its light-flooded rooms. The furnishings are modern and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, from a blender to a great selection of spices. The terrace is great and offers a fantastic view of the sea. We felt very comfortable for a week.

Great house for a getaway to Bainbridge

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this house in Bainbridge. It's centrally located enough that it wasn't too far to go into Winslow for dinner or over to Bloedel for a walk, but was a little off the beaten track and had beautiful views of the water. If you're going to use it as a place to hang out, the only gotchas I would call out are (1) the toilet in the guest bathroom needs to be replaced (we fixed it multiple times because it kept running); (2) the mattress in the guest room wasn't comfortable for my parents (who are in their 70s); and (3) the living room was a little awkward (there was no real coffee table and one of the couches was a day bed that wasn't very comfortable for sitting on. Despite all that, with a smaller group, I'd stay in the house again.

Beautiful Spot to Celebrate 40!

My two friends and I had a wonderful and relaxing time as we celebrated my friend's 40th birthday. We spent our days chatting, reading, enjoying the beautiful view, and going on long walks. Amazing view and an excellent location for local restaurants and wineries. Close to neighbors, so not appropriate for loud groups. As middle-aged moms, it was perfect for us :) Can't wait to return with our spouses for a couples trip!

Beautiful home, amazing stay

Had a siblings trip to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Our stay was perfect! Wine tasting on Saturday and beautiful mornings on the sunny deck. Very well stocked home thoughtfully cared for. Host was responsive and very kind. The three bedrooms were perfect for my siblings and our spouses. Would love to stay here again!

Great place!

Awesome stay …great hosts. Kitchen amenities are important to us and this place has everything, even a vitamix. And the view is fabulous. The best sheets and the mattress in the main bedroom is heavenly. In fact, I need to ask what brand it is! There was plenty of room for us to have our two adult children and spouses over for meals and not be crowded at all. Great hosts, great view, great amenities. I’ll definitely return!

Bainbridge Island Treasure

Our family really loved this comfortable home, which has amazing views of Puget Sound. A deck for relaxing, and a telescope inside for tracking the ships in the Sound and the numerous birds flying over the treetops. I love a fully stocked kitchen that has more than just 4 plates, cups and sets of silverware. Thank you! Comfy beds, and spotlessly clean in a very quiet neighborhood. Binisha, our host, was extremely responsive. A great get-away on the Island!
