Built in 2010, the garage apartment was constructed with the same quality and style as the 100 year old victorian main home.

Enter your private brick patio area with gas grill through a gate adjacent to your off-street parking space. Walk up the stairs past a giant pecan tree and enter the natural-light filled apartment.

The one bedroom apartment has everything you'll need to make your stay a pleasant one.

The full kitchen includes a range with gas cooktop and electric oven, a convection microwave oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher.

The center hallway closet has a clothes washer/dryer.

The tiled bathroom has a large pedestal sink and bathtub/shower.

The bedroom has a queen bed, large dresser and nightstands, as well as a large walk-in closet.

The living room is furnished with a queen fold out bed, with a very comfortable foam mattress, a dining table and chairs for 4, and a flat screen tv with local stations video streaming via Netflix and Hulu+. A dvd player and video library is also included, as well as free secured wireless internet access.

All linens and towels are provided.

I came to Austin to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday! This lovely apartment was absolutely perfect for us. It was charming, well stocked, exceedingly clean, fabulous location, and very comfortable. The AC was very powerful (which we needed) and the ceiling fans added a wonderful breeze! Perfect Location in Busy Austin

This lovely garage apartment is spotless and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen. It's a quiet retreat but centrally located in busy Austin. This older, established neighborhood is the perfect area for a quiet walk with easy access to excellent restaurants and groceries. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Great neighborhood- I love Hyde Park - peaceful Clean clean apartment! soft sheets and very comfy bed. The place has everything you need. Wish I could have stayed longer just to unwind in this peaceful garage apartment. Will stay again. The owners and their children are precious too! Great quiet hideaway in downtown Austin

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We came into town for a wedding and wanted to stay near the venue, but middle of downtown isn’t really our scene. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe while still being close enough to the action. The place was clean, easy to access, had its own parking space big enough for our truck, had restaurants within walking distance, had a filtered water pitcher, lots of closet space, and even a hair dryer and curling iron. Our hosts were kind and made sure we knew they were available if we needed them. There was also no long list of things to do at check out. It was a great place to stay!

Home Away From Home
