Very clean, updated, people are friendly and helpful. However it's full of empty gestures... Coffee makers and toaster, but no filters or place to plug in other than bathroom or bedroom. 3 glasses in a suite that sleeps 8, no bowls larger than a cereal bowl, no spatulas. Cabinets are so high that my 6'ft husband can't reach most of them. Not a single place to hang clothes, no any dressers of any sort. You will have to live out of you suitcase on the floor. Beds are comfortable, showers very nice. We had 2 nice balconies. Pool was clean and warm. Parking very convenient. It was quiet and felt safe and very close to the boardwalk
I loved how clean the apartment was! It seems recently renovated and was a good spot for our trip. However, the space was missing a lot of important items. There was no parking pass (went to front desk of motel), no sheets or pillows for the pullout couch, no silverware despite advertising dishes and glassware, and none of the rooms had racks in the closet or drawers for clothes. I personally do not like having to use only my luggage for storage. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if they made these changes!
I was told I would be text my room code by 4, if not earlier if my room was ready. We arrived In Town around 3 and went to get some lunch and wait until i was text the code. It was a Tuesday with only 2 other rooms being used and at 4:15 I had to call to see if my room was ready. It was, I just never got a code. I had to go into the office of the Tahiti to get a code and a parking pass. I was given a map and asked what floor this was on and was told the 3rd. It wasnât. It was on the second. Very confusing to find!
Upon arriving in the room we saw all laminate floors with nowhere to wipe your feet at the sandy beach. And no broom to sweep the sand!!
There was what looked like a spot framed out for a dishwasher but no dishwasher was there. There was a spot for a washer and dryer yet there was no washer and dryer.
They didnât supply coffee or coffee filters. We brought k-cups since that seems to be pretty normal but it was an old fashion coffee pot and no filters. If we would have known that we would have brought filters. There were no tissues or paper towels. No dish soap or sponges- so I doubt the people prior to us washed the dishes, they didnât look very clean.
There was also no dressers or luggage racks. So everything had to sit on the sandy, dirty floors then be put onto the bed with sand on it. There was no closets to hang anything.
The curtain rods were too small for the heavy curtains, so they were falling off the walls.
We did enjoy the pool and the patio area.
We really enjoyed staying at Oceanâs Edge. You could tell the place was recently renovated and it looked exactly like the pictures. It was close to the boardwalk and rides, but still quiet inside despite the proximity. Our only issue was that the internet/TVs didnât work sometimes. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again
There was no dishwasher, washer and dryer, toaster, coffee maker, closet, suitcase rack, dish detergent, or paper towels in our unit. The Cloudbed app did not work at all and Expedia kept telling us that we did not have a reservation. There were clearly some hiccups as this property gets going. I hope that the owners can correct these bugs.
