'Mooi gelegen hotel langs onze roadtrip aan de oostkust. We waren met drie personen en hadden een kamer met dubbele bedden geboekt. De kamer zelf was boven verwachting ruim en compleet. Wat wel tegenviel was de staat van de bank, daar zakte je half doorheen, en de vloer was plakkerig en vochtig. Mogelijk iets met de aurco of overnatig zeepgebruik bij schoonmaken. Helaas iets waar we pas achter kwamen nadat we ons hadden gesettled. Omdat we maar één nacht bleven hebben we dit door de vingers...

'Everything was great until I pulled back the covers to get in the king size bed and found it was full of sand and very small dark curly hairs. Since I didn’t want to cause a fuss at 1 am with the security guard, who was the only staff available from 7 - 7, I pulled all the bedding off and slept in one of the twin beds instead. Definitely a one and done at the Atlantic Beach Resort for me. I would ask for a refund if I thought they would issue one.'

We loved the spacious rooms & the shower was the best shower I've ever experienced in a hotel. My only critique is a lack of protein on the breakfast bar. I'm diabetic & unfortunately there were only high carbohydrate / sugary options available, so we skipped the complementary breakfast....

'The floors in our room turned the bottoms of our feet black upon arrival. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. We had a tiny room and the only place to sit and eat was in bed. Not a fan of ordering breakfast and having it delivered to the room - just have a simple continental breakfast in the lobby where the dining area is. People have to come down to get coffee anyway. The only reason I booked was because it was directly in front of the transient...
