'I booked the Superior Sea Room that included breakfast just to be told by the staff after sitting down for breakfast according to their list I chose the self-catering option. As a Gold member I also got a good discount and it was supposedly a VIP property. I contacted the the managing agent via WhatsApp and even after sending him screenshots to show that if I should make another booking that it showed that free breakfast was included. His reaction was that he only looks on the Nightbridge...

'Fantastic location and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Amber on reception was incredibly helpful. The room was magnificent and large with a veranda and incredible view. The bed was comfortable and the resort very quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Seeing the resident springbok and other wild animals that live and roam in the area was such a treat too. Would definitely recommend the Lodge and will stay again.'

'The room was nice and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue was that the air conditioning/heating system was not working properly, so the room was quite cold.'

'Felt welcome as soon as we arrived, Thelma & Ronnie are a super friendly couple who make you feel at home. Room was spacious, clean & had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious & cooked exactly to our liking. The garden/pool area of this guest house is a super area to relax & spend time chatting & indeed drinking with the owners & other guests'

'The property is in a great location, perfect for sunset. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.'

'The place was spotless, quiet, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Loved being so close to the beach and restaurants. The hosts were welcoming without hovering, which I appreciated. Overall, a comfortable, easy stay in a beautiful part of Cape Town. Would definitely come back. '

'Wonderful room. Attentive staff. Sheets amazing. Amazing breakfast. Would stay again. 2 minutes walking from Waterfront'

'Super vriendelijk personeel , prachtige kamers.'
