« The bedroom has a very comfy bed with lovely views. The restaurant wasn’t so good, tables were sticky and not clean at all. Breakfast was chaos, bread wasn’t there had to ask for it to be stocked up. There were no plates for toast, the only ones we saw were all dirty. The waiter didn’t know what muesli was. »

« The hotel was out in the countryside with excellent views over the moors. It was very clean and well cared for. Car parking was good. The room size, bed size, etc was great. One small problem - the room lighting was not very bright during the night time. The food was excellent and the staff were great. It was also a great place for walkers with great access to the countryside. I would recommend it. »

« Incredible stay at The Saddle Rooms. Easy check in with very helpful staff. Treated to a lovely twin room named 'The Pretender ' (all rooms named after famous racehorses) with my son. Attention to detail wonderful. Amazing large bathroom with true waterfall shower. Comfortable beds and air conditioning/systems that actually worked. We had dinner which was worth every penny. « Liz and Glenn operate an amazing property, they are extremely helpful and accommodating hosts, their breakfasts are outstanding, our room was very clean and comfortable. Herriots is superbly located in the town of Hawes, which itself has plenty of food and beverage outlets as well as being well positioned to access all that the Dales has to offer. »

« River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too.
