'Small but cosy. Excellent location in beautiful area with direct access to hiking routes. Friendly folks, convenient parking, dogs can freely play and swim right next door. No airco or stove/hub. Loads of peace and quite, but occassionally noisy motorcycles on the road in front. Great stay for hiking couples!'

'It was a cute little bolt hole. We are however tall & it’s very low ceilings and doors so had to duck everywhere. Reasonably well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Some cobwebs between beams & in windows which we used a duster to move those above the bed. The bushes by the main entrance could also do with a trim as encroach on the door way when passing through.Some teas, coffees, biscuits and fresh milk was a nice touch as well as the a little freezer with the fridge. Easy to park in little car...

'The accommodation was very impressive, extremely well equipped and immaculately clean with lovely extra's of snacks and freshly baked bread. The Alexa system was so easy to use and the shower was lovely.The only downside was that the deposit taken the day before arrival was more than the booking, so looking forward to getting that back a.s.a.p. and the twin beds were a bit smaller than a normal single bed. I would highly recommend this property to others as it is high quality accommodation.'

'comfortable clean cozy and very tidy, with great views across the valley to Whernside, wish we could have stayed longer maybe next time, The kitchen was well maintained and had all you needed, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The dark night was amazing coming from a town we dont see dark like that! Glad we taken our SUV and not the hatchback as we would have struggled on the bumpy roads due to its very low front end.'
