'This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate) The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train '

'If you looking for a quiet family oriented place for 1-2 nights outside Kyoto with a Ryokan and privacy. This is the place. Bring lots of games and books, nice walks along the river. It is not a large hotel and it is not easy to get to. But the right circumstances make this a perfect experience. '
