What a splendid house!!!

We were with 7 golfers in this magnificent house. More than enough space. Very nice kitchen and sitting-room. All the bedrooms had their own bathroom with showers and toilets. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very spacious. Pete and his son Luke were very friendly. A spacious house for up to 12 people.

Fijn verblijf.

We werden goed en gastvrij ontvangen, en hebben een duidelijke en gezellige rondleiding en uitleg gekregen. We waren met 7 personen, iedereen had dus een eigen plekje. De kamers zijn knus, gezellige en schoon. De omgeving is geweldig, en van alles voor zien. Geweldig restaurant chester beatty inn onderaan de heuvel. Met de auto of openbaar vervoer ben je zo op plek van bestemming. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Enige minpuntje: de site doet overkomen alsof de accomodatie op een park gelegen is. Er staan foto's op van een speeltuin bijvoorbeeld, die niet aanwezig is. Het lijkt op de foto's erg aantrekelijk voor kinderen wat niet het geval was. Echter is wr op 15 min afstand aan het strand een leuke speeltuin. Verder een top verblijf gehad.

Perfect Eastern Ireland locatuon

We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this property! We were a group of friends and family getting together to visit and explore this part of Ireland. Not only was a space perfect for our group with its multiple spaces to gather our large group to catch up, but the area has gorgeous scenery and activities for all ages. It benefits from its closeness to Dublin, of course, but there are so much to see within a couple minutes drive! Hope to visit again soon!

An absolute must stay

We had the best time staying here, highly highly recommend to anyone looking for a trip to ireland or staycation. The property was fabulous, impeccably clean and fully kitted out with everything you might need. They had even though as far ahead as to have a stair gate available to put in the stairs for guests with small children like ourselves. They also have an outdoor fire pit which was perfect for making s’moresThe property is in a fabulous location with lots of activities for days out 20 minutes drive away.And the hosts were amazing, so welcoming and super responsive to all our questions. The perfect location for a couples get away, girly trip and family vacation. I can’t wait to return!

There aren’t enough words to describe what a wonderful house and hosts this home and family are. We had our entire family there for our 40th wedding anniversary. The house was everything we had hoped for and Una, Peter and their sons were very responsive and charming. The location was wonderful and afforded us access to everything. Go and stay here!!

Expectations met!

An excellent property. The photos matched the reality. Very comfortable and spacious for our group of 8. Lovely outdoor seating area. Easy parking. Great access to local grocery, Mount Usher Gardens, DART station only 20 minutes away at Greystones with 3 all day parking. Could not be happier with our stay. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay here. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and the house was great to hang out in and cook in. We were families with kids and they loved the place so much we had to come home every evening for a bbq and marshmallows by the fire. Also near Glendalough and Clara Lara which they loved. Highly recommend

Great house and amazing hostess!

We had a great time staying here and the hostess, Una, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We made day trips all around the Wicklow area from this convenient spot and with a house full of kids this was a perfect spot to enjoy the evenings by the fireplace. Una ensured the bed setup was properly arranged for us prior to arriving, oriented us well to the amenities, made recommendations for local dining and activities, and helped us get a few things back that we accidentally left after checkout. I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Ashford or the surrounding Wicklow area.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt oder Industrial meets Wood

Platz für uns 11, wo findet man das schon? Wir waren für eine Woche im 3-Generationen-Urlaub dort. Man fühlt sich sofort zuhause. 4 Schlafzimmer, zwei davon familientauglich, alle mit eigenem Badezimmer. Jedes Zimmer liebevoll gestaltet, urig und gemütlich. Wohn- , Koch- Essbereich großzügig gestaltet und lädt zu gemeinsamer Zeit ein. Viele schöne Orte zum Entdecken und Bewundern in der Nähe und gut zu erreichen. Ashford und das nahe Wicklow bieten alles, was man an Versorgung braucht. Und wer die Iren noch noch erlebt hat, wird feststellen, dass sie ein besonders herzliches und familienfreundliches Volk sind. Una die Vermieterin ist jederzeit zu erreichen und hilft, wo immer sie kann. Liebe Una wir hatten eine unvergesslich schöne Zeit, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und hab vielen Dank für alles, vielleicht sehen wir uns noch einmal wieder!

A cozy architectural GEM in Ireland!

Thank you to this visionary, amazing couple who gave us the best stay. We loved it and wish we could’ve stayed there even longer. It’s a unique home with coziness enshrined every inch. It’s clean and safe and is a great launching pad for many fun spots!

Great spot to stay!

Thus property was exactly what we were looking for in the wicklow mountains. Its convenient loction to dublin made it an easy pick. The stay wqs grat, lots of room, fantastic outside space, beds were numerous in every room and each one had a full bath.

Perfection.

I was traveling with friends and family for my 50th. This place was perfect for our group. The only thing that could make it better would be maybe a how-to guide to the house and maybe a list of local restaurants/pubs/markets in the area.

Family trip from UK to Wicklow

This is a fabulous property if you want to really switch off - it has a very cosy and relaxing vibe. Beds and sofas & chairs are all very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Showers and bathrooms are excellent also. The only slight negative is that the WiFi is a bit slow and unstable, but perhaps this actually helps “switching off” and relaxing more!! Great family stay

Had a great time at the property and made many wonderful memories. Una was great and very responsive. The outside area was an added benefit to share a fire and some drinks and laughs at the end of the day. Absolutely outstanding
