It has two bedrooms comprising of a king size and a single, there is also a single sofabed in the sitting room, there is a shower room and the cottage can sleep three or four people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. To the outside there is ample off road parking, The Ivy Barn is a stunning cottage in an excellent rural location with walks and cycle routes in the area.



The Neighborhood:

Kirk Ireton is a village in the Derbyshire countryside on the borders of the Peak District National Park, 4 miles from Wirksworth. Kirk Ireton is made up of sandstone buildings, many date back to the 17th century, the oldest of which is the pub. Kirk Ireton is home to a Norman church and the village is perfect for a stroll around and soaking up the history. Nearby Wirksworth is a town on the edge of the White Peak, full of character with buildings of architectural interest including a church. Visitors will enjoy exploring the ancient jitties and courtyards, and the National Stone Centre, as well as the countryside including Carsington Water and the High Peak Trail.
