'The gentlemen who checked me in was friendly and very professional, however my room appeared to be clean until I tried to take a shower and there was dirty towels in the shower. I addressed it with the manage Maurice and he seemed unbothered by my situation. He didn't offer to send housekeeping up to clean the bathroom and remove the used towel. Maurice told me they'll do better. Refuse to give me a business card or receipt. '

'What a great stay we had at The Cochrane House! Our hosts were accommodating and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We stayed at the Cochrane House after attending a couple of sporting events in Detroit. It was so nice to come back to a place that was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast arrived at our door the following morning. Coffee just as we like it and homemade biscuits. The sisters that own this home are terrific hosts. And not only do they care about their guests, they are also committed...

'Cannot recommend this hotel enough when you are staying in Detroit. The interior is amazing, staff is friendly and room is super clean. We got a standard room but we still had a huge bathroom and enough space for 2 people. Location is superb.'
