'The overall stay was excellent. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, the cleanliness of the rooms were good and a good breakfast. The last 3 minutes of the stay, not so much. There were 2 women at the the desk, one elder and one younger. The elder lady was super friendly and very nice and the other, not so much. Very off putting and acted like we were a nuisance to check out. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the younger one off of her...

Continental breakfast on the floor and cookies in the afternoon with fresh fruit all day was delightful. The rooftop bar was amazing. The lobby restaurant was incredible. Best steak and sides on our trip to the South lease eat there. You will not regret it. Staff was incredible. '

'This was a pricey stay, but worth it. The convenient downtown location put us in the heart of so much of what classic Charleston has to offer. Our room was small but elegant and the lobby where we ate the breakfast offerings and Carmella’s (right across the street) gelatos, was beautifully decorated and peaceful. We would stay there again!'

'The location was ideal! Able to walk to just about anything. Staff was fabulous! So very friendly & helpful. Especially the valet, Dillion. He was wonderful. Very genuine in his interactions. The whole team was really great. We would definitely stay there again. Very unique property. We loved the rooftop bar & cookies in the evening! If you want to submerge yourself in the true atmosphere of Charleston, this is a great place for you! Just book it!! '
