Lakefront 3-bedroom cottage with private dock & amazing sunset view

This charming lakefront cottage gives you a bright & airy feel throughout with a stunning sunset view over Lake Petenwell. Our cottage is decked out in a beach theme and the 3 bedrooms have a total of 5 beds. The 3rd bedroom is tucked off the back corner of the house for ultimate privacy. Fast streaming internet allows you to stay connected or binge watch your favorite series. Watch our smart TV in the living room or enjoy the 65" TV in our rec room where you can raise the garage door to enjoy the lake view or tailgate and grill outside while the game plays on the big screen. If you are into coffee then you might enjoy our well received coffee bar in the kitchen.

If you’re into the outdoors, you’ll find fishing from your own private dock during the summer & ATV/snowmobile trails along with miles of hiking trails right out the front door. Enjoy cooking smores or a tasty beverage at our lakeside firepit while the sun sets. Within walking distance to the county park, gorgeous beach, boat launch, marina & bar / restaurant. Lake Petenwell is the 2nd largest lake at 23,000 acres and connects to the Wisconsin River offering over 20 miles of boating for all types of watercraft. There are multiple beaches, restaurants / bars, pontoon rentals, and even a marina with gas on the water. Enjoy great fishing year round.

A short drive from golf courses such as Sand Valley, Lake Arrowhead, & Northern Bay, public hunting, casino, Dyracuse Recreation Park, Wisconsin Trapshooting complex, and 35 minutes from the WI Dells & so much more!

For security purposes, our cottage has two external audio video recording devices. One above garage door facing driveway and front door and a second one on the southeast corner of our cottage facing the back yard.

Great Space!

I had stayed here in January, which is why I booked it again for July. It's a great, clean house that is in wonderful condition. It has a great view of the lake & a yard to hang out in while enjoying the view. I would bet good money that I will rent this house again.

Great Fishing Getaway

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect cottage for our annual girls weekend. The property was just as described with ample space, generous accommodations, and a very responsive host. It was a close drive to restaurants and shopping and the view of the lake was picturesque. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location...

We enjoyed our stay here. Cabin is very clean and spacious. Parking for 2 cars or one boat/trailer/truck. I messaged the owner a head of time regarding parking. We were unable to park the extra vehicle but the owner let us park on the grass as parking in the road is not allowed. As mentioned, the neighbors do not seem happy that this is a rental next to them. We were very respectful. Also note, the piers are taken out the first week of Oct. The boat launch is very close and very nice.

Cute and Clean Lake House with great view!

Clean and comfortable lake house with lake views right across the road (walk right to it) with private dock. Was not lacking any amenities, great water pressure, super clean, solid beds / comfy pillows, plenty of closet space, and kitchen well stocked with coffee bar. Lake is right across from house and multiple set ups to enjoy like the outside chairs/fire pit or open the garage door and rest in the recliners and enjoy the view! 2 min walk down the road was a great bar/grill with awesome home cooked food and a bit further down was a small store/gas station in case you forgot the coffee :) A mile or two down was a great coffee shop. The description was exactly as stated and if you just came with your overnight bag you were not needing anything except food if you were in the mood to cook. Grill was clean and easy to use. Excellent wi-fi Would definitely recommend this place and we hope to stay again - thank you so much for being super hosts!

Wonderful house, great location. Everything you needed was provided and then some…we needed to make a couple adjustments to our schedule and the owner was extremely accommodating. The dock was great and so was the fishing. Highly recommended and we hope to be back🙏

Perfect Golf Retreat

We booked several rounds at Sand Valley but couldn’t find room at the resort. We found this gem instead. 15 minute drive to Sand Valley. Efficient use of space. Great sunset views over the Lake. Local bar very close and 100% walkable. We made a fire in the fire pit multiple nights and watched sun set. Would be perfect for four buddies who want to golf but don’t need/want to stay at the resort.

Sunset Escape

This was one of our best and most memorable vacations. We wanted a place to share with family that included water fun and relaxation. We had all of that and more. Brian was an attentive, caring kind host who made sure to include every detail. The home is beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable during our 8 day stay. We brought more of our kitchen supplies than we even needed. They have every utensil including a corkscrew, potato peeler, chrese grater and measuring cups. They have about 3 fry pans and we did also use our cast iron skillet on the electric stovetop and on the big gas grill that is provided at the cottage. Our family enjoyed a week of boating, fishing, campfires, kayaking and floating on our tubes and rafts. The highlight was sharing the sunset views from down by the pier or from the Adirondek chairs around the firepit. We were respectful of the neighbors and they were all extremely nice. The locals guided us on where to go for great food and drink. We enjoyed Hoozels, The Mill, The Lure and 9 rounds of golf plus good food at Moundview golf course. There is also a list of activities in the binder at the cabin. We were sad to have to leave and go home, because we had such a good time. We know we can go back, but once the word gets out, we are sure this place will fill up fast. It is a gem and you will not be disappointed.
