'The exterior was in good shape, but the room was dirty and in serious need of a major upgrade. The desk was designed more to prevent robbery and the clerk had only fair command of English. I shared to room with at least one roach. I paid for two nights but one was enough and I left. The location is only close to I65 and nothing else. I had read that the motel had recently been rehabilitated -- but if so apparently they skipped my room.'

'We were really surprised by this property. The hotel is old school with a courtyard and pool in the middle. The interior rooms walk directly outdoors. The place is extremely clean and well manicured. The room was updated nicely (just a couple tweaks would have made it perfect). It was a nice breakfast area with elbow room and the lobby is updated and clean too. It was a bit nostalgic without compromising updates/amenities or grounds maintenance. We'd stay there again.'

'The hotel is on the older side, however, the room was clean. There were a few stained marks on the bed spread, but it was not dirty. If I want a room that looks brand new, I can pay $100 more and go to the Hampton, which I won’t do. As long as the room is clean and the AC works, I’ll continue to stay'
