'I had a delightful stay at this B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in this region. The room was pretty, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was top notch as was the service. The owners are a charming couple who are also bilingual in French and English. The property and gardens are absolutely lovely and peaceful. '

'I can’t say enough positives about this property! We stayed in the La Chambre de Marie Janelle. The room had everything you could need: robes, slippers, hairdryer, tea kettle, great AC, soap, even wash clothes. Our room was beautiful and very quiet. Getting to the property can be challenging but well worth the effort. I will say this property is NOT for those with any kind of mobility issues. There is no elevator and our room was on third floor. 'Beautiful place - very quiet with excellent host and wonderful breakfast. As there were only 4 rooms we shared breakfast with the other quests which added to the experience. We are English & the the other guests were from Australia, Holland & USA so we had plenty to talk about at the breakfast table. Our bedroom was enormous and beautifully furnished.Will definitely stay here again if we are in the Loire Valley.'

"The room in Fontevraud L'Ermitage was pleasant, it was clean and the beds were good. Perfect for 2 or 3 nights. The room was quite warm in August, there were fans but they made little difference. We also missed having a seat. We were with 4 people, so sometimes we had to wait for each other. Don’t go for the breakfast, the selection is very limited and we found it very disappointing for the price."
