Terrible Maintenance and Zero Management Response Pros: Excellent location near Myeongdong and Chungmuro station, with a Starbucks on the ground floor and a convenience store in the next building. Lots of places to eat nearby. Cons: The room maintenance was shocking. We arrived to a filthy room and had to clean it ourselves. Issues included: • Severe filth: Oily fingerprints, grime on surfaces, dusty curtains/blinds, and thick dust behind the sliding door to the washbasin area. • Broken fixtures: Collapsed closet and safe shelves (safe was unusable), a sagging sofa dent, loose light covers, a broken mosquito net, peeling wallpaper, and a broken sliding door that kept derailing. • Odors: A blinding air freshener smell gave us a headache, and the microwave smelled. • External noise: Loud, random construction outside went late into the night, making it difficult to air out the room. Service: The front desk offered no alternative rooms. We tried contacting them via Expedia and Instagram, but Expedia's messages errored out and social media went ignored. The next day, a housekeeper was sent; she was shocked by the room's state and took photos for management. Despite this, management offered no apology, no follow-up. Building: The elevators are a nightmare. With only two regular lifts, wait times are massive, and guests on lower floors can rarely get on. Do not stay here.
