'Voormalige britse kolonien staan erom bekend dat het een rommeltje is. Rex Resort en Antigua zijn daarop geen uitzondering. Het weer en de vriendelijkheid van sommige lokale bevolking maakt echter wat ons betreft veel goed. De openlijke corruptie bij het verlaten van het eiland(Embarkation tax $210 was wel de limit wat mij betreft. 'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'

Cottage well equipped: airconditioning, large fridge/freezer, large cooker, large BBQ, flatscreen tv, audio-system, satnav for car, local mobile phone etc. etc. Gabriella and Douglas were very welcoming and helpful hosts and can tell a lot about Antigua.'
