'We were greeted enthusiastically by the owner, Pete, and felt immediately welcome. As we had never been to Brisbane before (having just flown in from Canada), Pete gave us all kinds of great ideas for enjoying the city. It was easy to hop on the bus to get to South Bank quickly and then hop a ferry to The Star for a nighttime view of the city. '

'In onze kamer hing een vieze geur, maar komt misschien door de cycloon die langs is geweest? Verder daar niet gedouched, geen douche gordijn of niks, dan zou heel de badkamer onder water staan. Onze kamer was naast de blikjes automaat, dus laat in de avond en snachts overlast van mensen die blikjes kochten. Voor 1 nacht was dit te doen, maar anders geen aanrader. En ook zat er bloed op onderdeken...... Erg duur gezien de prijs/ kwaliteit.. '
