Enjoy a picnic at Wordsworth’s favourite picnic area – Rydal Water (4 miles); here you can visit landmarks connected to the poet at Rydal Mount (3.5 miles) and Dora’s Field. And enjoy a memorable sunset cruise on Lake Windermere (5.5 miles) before returning to your cosy cottage.
