'If you’re looking for the cutest true English village this is it!!! Very remote, but fantastic, had a wonderful dinner, and cocktails. The staff, were wonderful, from the young bartender, waiter at dinner, but the women that served breakfast was just the kindness and interesting, l could chat with her for hours. Book this place! Stayed before a cruise'

'My husband and I had the best experience at the Bulls Head Inn! We loved everything about it—the quaintness of the town, the cleanliness of the inn and our room, and the food and drinks at the pub (the veggie burger was amazing!). The list could go on.

'The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. 'Brilliant for hiking and visiting Guildford.
Staff were pleasant and friendly.
The food is quite expensive, though and initially I was charged for a glass of wine that was part of my menu. No fuss about it, however, and the bill was rectified.
