'Just got back from a stay at Hotel Excelsior in the Dolomites and honestly, it was perfect. The sauna area was really nice and relaxing after a day out exploring. Food was excellent across the board, from the breakfast spread to the salad buffet at dinner. They’ve got a solid wine list, great coffee, and every meal came with a view that made you want to linger a little longer. The staff were super friendly and made everything feel easy and relaxed. 'Het is een mooie accommodatie we waren wel even verrast dat ze aan het verbouwen waren voor ons raam. Verder was de woonkamer erg klein en de indeling anders dan verwacht. Daarentegen waren de slaapkamer prima en de bedden lagen heerlijk. De keuken was ook van alles voorzien. Alles was zeer schoon en bij de balie waren ze erg behulpzaam. We zij voor de verbouwing voor ons raam gecompenseerd met een dagelijks heerlijk ontbijt. (Gelukkig waren de werkzaamheden wel stilgelegd en was het uitzicht...

The only issue we had is a church bell. That thing goes off all night and it's loud. I'm not too bothered by that stuff, but my wife slept poorly even with earplugs. Parking there is great. It's free and there is plenty of space.'

'Lovely authentic Tyrolean hotel . Rooms are large and newly renovated. Breakfast is a decent continental selection. A 3 course set dinner menu is available each night though we didn’t try it. The village is beautiful. We didn’t have a car but the bus and train network to neighbouring villages was pretty good and straightforward plus you get a free transport pass with the hotel. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and the train station is less than 10 minutes walk. All the shops are very close...

'Our stay at Hotel Gran Ciasa was one of the highlights of our Italy vacation. The surroundings are beautiful and you can enjoy them from anywhere within the hotel. You really feel like you are in the mountains, especially in the hot tub and relax rooms. 'I highly recommend this hotel! It was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Italy. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful; they even helped me find my lost wallet. The property is perfectly located right at the starting point of the Gardena Pass. The mountain view from the jacuzzi was breathtaking. I definitely recommend using the spa to relax and take in that amazing view.'
