Malgré l'entente de ménage à faire à cause du Covid, Jamais le ménage de ma chambre n'a été fait. Première fois que je suis déçu d'un Holiday Inn.

Heart of downtown Alexandria; great location on the red river ! The amenities are excellent in this area of downtown. Highly recommend this location for business or pleasure!!

The lobby area was spacious and convenient. The hotel is close to local attractions and easy parking. One of our guest an elderly woman tripped in the bathroom and skinned her knee. The hotel did not have a first aid kit and I had to go to Walgreens nearby to get bandages/large band aid and anticeptic spray. The bathroom door came off the track about half way closed and would not move. Also the toilet seat would not stay up. One male, two females,that's a problem.

When I was walking into the hotel the entrance was covered in some type of liquid. When I entered the lobby the floor was filthy. It looked like it had not been mopped in ages. When I left in the morning broken glass was allover the outside entrance. The staff was friendly.

We liked the cleanliness, but the toilet gave us issue and the shower being backward was weird and the water pressure was low. No crib being available and the pool being closed the entire stay was inconvenient.

The room was ok at best, the plugs attached to the nightstand were falling out the wall or would practically be hanging out of said wall. The furniture was definitely well worn, and the bed was pretty uncomfortable, felt like I was sleeping on a curved arch, not a very fun experience. Also there is nothing slowing all the doors from shutting so constant loud door slams are the norm when you’re trying to sleep. The building is just really well worn and definitely could use a SERIOUS face lift. But it was like I said, ok at best. The staff however was amazing and is the only reason my review is at 3 stars. Unfortunately the property is not well kept. The lobby looks great but then when we headed up to our room on the 4th floor, as soon as I got off the elevator they had a very strong scented air freshener. I wondered why, when I got into my room, the smell of the moisture in the room was evident. The bathroom did not have a vent and so the steam of showers just lingers in the room and the sheets smelled funny too. I had taken some documents with me and when I picked them up the next day, the documents felt flimsy like the paper had soaked up the moisture in the room. I only stayed two days and for the most part we were not in the room too much but I honestly did not want to be there. The bathroom wasn't very clean when we got there and due to the moisture issue, things were rusting a bit, like the towel holders and the shower door. The last day as I was packing and picking up, I realized that it looked like they had not vacuumed that room in quite a while, there were pieces of old chips, nail clippings, and pieces of old candy. I have to head to LA once a month and I've stayed in quite a few hotels but unfortunately, I will not be staying in this one again.

Downtown hotel was in a perfect location for a family wedding. They accepted pets which was key for me. The staff, all of them, were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Some guests didn’t follow suggestion for preventing their doors to slam shut, but that is not the hotel’s fault. We never tried breakfast buffet although they had one. There’s a church across the street whose clock bells chime every hour and every 15 minutes but we never heard it in our room. My only desire would have been a view of it, as we were on the other side with a a view of an industrial rooftop. We were comfortable and slept well. Plenty of hot water for showers.

The staff was nice and friendly It was cool that they have a restaurant on the property and a bar now let’s get to what i didn’t like they charge 12.95 per person for breakfast when it should be free like all the other hotels and the room we stayed in was not up to par I don’t even think no one came in to clean the room properly someone had left there soap in the shower the ceiling was falling in the bathroom and the toilet was running be we fix it ourselves and I couldn’t even charge my phone because none of the plugs worked in the room for my iPhone they need to do a little tlc to the hotel room’s maybe in the near future I will return and see if my experience will change my review on this hotel.
