Overall, our stay was good. The staff was very kind during check-in, and we really appreciated being granted a late checkout. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming.
However, the morning of checkout was frustrating. Even though we were told our late checkout was updated in the system, staff attempted to open our door while we were still inside and sleeping. They even tried moving the door latch when we didn’t answer quickly enough. About 30 minutes later, they returned and banged on the door to tell us we had a late checkout — which we already knew.
While the staff was generally nice, this felt very unprofessional and honestly uncomfortable. Having someone try to enter the room while we were asleep was not okay. I hope communication between staff improves so this doesn’t happen to other guests.
