Heerlijk familieverblijf

Albufierra als gezinsvakantie niet aan te raden maar de Casa had een heerlijk zwembad (wel extra kosten voor verwarmd bad) en mooie strandjes in de buurt .

A very nice place to stay at a perfect location!

A perfect place to stay for our group of 10 people. It’s a very nice house, lovely pool with terraces. The kitchen was very wel equipped for a big group of people. Large sleeping rooms and good showers/bath. Although it’s very quiet around the house, it’s a short walk to the supermarket and bars/restaurants. The sea is at walking distance. We had a lovely time here!!

Super séjours,Maison très typique de l'Algarve avec un très grand espace extérieur bien aménagé et une belle piscine avec vue sur l'océan, plage à 10 minutes à pied sans vis-à-vis.Un grand merci à Pauline qui a su réagir très rapidement pour un souci de frigidaire et qui est très à l'écoute. Petits aménagements à suggérer : un point de lumière supplémentaire au point repas extérieur (pas assez de lumière), la cafetière expresso toute neuve, impossible de faire un café correctement sans qu'elle fuie.Toute la famille a passé un agréable séjour.Seul problème à ce séjour, lors de la réservation j'avais réservé pour 7 adultes et 3 enfants, donc 10 personnes pour une villa de 11 personnes.J'ai ajouté 2 enfants et on m'a facturé 564 en supplément. Être honnête coûte cher.Dans l'ensemble, très belle villa, je recommande.José

We had an amazing stay with everything you could possibly want. Location fabulous with the Marina and 2 lovely beaches within easy walking distance. We didn’t hire a car as we used local ubers being readily available and cheap. We all loved the villa and the outdoor space. There were no neighbours to disturb which was a bonus with 4 lively boys. We really loved this property!! Excellent communication and information shared before arrival and we were met by the property manager after arrival which was really helpful. The farmhouse is traditional and really unique. It sits in a quiet location with no immediate neighbours and is an easy walk to Sao Rafael. Albufeira marina was only a 15 min walk which had really reasonably priced restaurants and was much quieter than the old town. The location was perfect, especially if you enjoy walking. The house was really well equipped for the number of people it accommodates, especially the kitchen which had everything you could need plus 2 large fridge / freezers, perfect for a large group.The outdoor space was fabulous and spacious with both seating and dining areas and a great sized swimming pool. The pool had sunshine all day! So much to see and do locally and a great location for exploring the Algarve. Our party of 9 (adults and teenagers) would all definitely recommend this property and hope to return.

Tres belle villa, avec vue sur mer. La piscine est vraiment un plus.villa tres fonctionnelle,il y a tout ce qu il faut. Juste besoin d une voiture pour se déplacer car il n y a rien aux alentours, mais je recommande tout de même cette villa,nous avons passé une excellente semaine

Not happy - to be home!

Beautiful home away from home with friends and family. 10 of us in total and none of us can find fault in Casa Do Grego. The house is well laid out, with a lovely outdoor area and pool, enough space for all of us and pretty much everything we needed to be self-sufficient for the week. Close enough to both the marina and some lovely beaches to walk, but cheap enough in an Uber if you’re not up to the hike up the hills. Great comms with both the owner and the agent too. All in all, we had a fantastic week and will no doubt be back in the future.

Nice vacation

The property is big and therefore enough space for a big family. It is an old farmhouse outside of Albufeira, so you shouldn't expect to have anything surrounding it but the nature. You also need to make sure that you have a car to go and visit the beaches. We enjoyed it very much and had a good time with the whole family

Bon séjour dans l'ensemble

L’emplacement est très bien situé (plages et routes), la maison est spacieuse et bien agencée, sans vis à vis. Les chambres sont de belle taille et la cuisine est très bien équipée. Pauline, la manager a toujours été disponible au moindre soucis. Il y a cependant des points faibles que nous devons mentionner ; linge de lit usé (délavé et abîmé), oreillers trop fins, serviettes de toilette rêches, trouées et sentant le renfermé. Les transats de piscines sont anciens et mériteraient d’être changés (déformés, inconfortables, odeur de moisi). Nous avons dû faire changer les parasols de piscine durant le séjour (un était cassé depuis le début et l’autre était en mauvais état). Les chaises extérieures sont de mauvaise qualité et instables.Grosses tâches et usures sur les matelas de banc extérieur. Il a été très difficile de dormir, spécifiquement pour les enfants en bas âge. Les chambres sont dotées de ventilateurs, qui eux aussi mériteraient d’être changés (bruyants, grinçants) et qui n’ont fait que brasser de l’air chaud. Il conviendrait d’équiper la maison au minimum avec des climatiseurs mobiles dans les chambres. L’eau de la piscine a été trouble durant toute la durée de notre séjour. EN CONCLUSION: La maison est agréable et sa situation géographique est parfaite mais nous avons été déçus de la qualité du matériel sur place au regard du prix du séjour. Il n'est pourtant pas cher de procéder à ces simples ajustements, c'est dommage.

Urlaub im casa do Grego

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen alten Bauernhaus. Die ruhige Lage mit Meerblick ließ uns für 8 Tage in eine andere Welt eintauchen! Atemberaubende Strände in unmittelbarer Nähe (zwischen 2 und 10 Autominuten). Wir waren jeden Tag an einem anderen Strand und der tolle Pool ließ uns die Zeit zu Hause genießen und war erfrischend! Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der muffige Geruch der Kästen und Kommoden. Wir mussten unsere gesamten Kleider nach unserer Rückkehr zu Hause waschen, um den Geruch loszuwerden.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette villa très bien située dans un quartier très calme d'Albufeira avec une vue magnifique sur les falaises de Baleeira depuis la terrasse sur le toit. La maison est grande, parfaite pour notre groupe de 7 amis, très bien équipée, absolument rien ne manque. La literie est de très bonne qualité. L'extérieur est vaste, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la terrasse couverte pour les repas à l'abri du soleil et la grande piscine. Vraiment rien à redire, parfait.

Great place for a large group!

We had a fantastic time as a family at this property. It's an old-style farmhouse building - so don't expect pristine condition. But, everything was clean/tidy, and the kitchen had all you needed to cook/BBQ. The house is up a reasonably steep hill so we would recommend a car if you have people in your group that struggle to walk. Be prepared to walk longer distances to reach places (30+ mins) or drive short journeys (5mins). Very close to Albufeira marina (down the hill) and in easy reach of Albufeira old town by car/longer walk. The pool was great! Overall excellent value for money.

Family holiday with an opportunity to catch up after Covid restrictions

The property provided a lovely base for our family to get together after such a long time. The villa had everything we needed and was ideal for young children. We had all our meals outside looking at the view and enjoyed spending time in the lovely pool which was safely behind a gated access point. We would recommend Caso do Greco to anyone.

Lovely well equipped villa, beautiful location

We stayed in this spacious villa with our children and grandchild. The annex was ideal for the couple with the baby. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are rooftop views of the beautiful local beaches which we walked to. The pool is great and the outdoor dining area is brilliant. A nice walk to the marina and lovely local seafood restaurant too. We would highly recommend this villa.

Bela casa, bem situada

A casa do grego esta muito bem situada com uma linda vista. Cozinha é espaçosa com 2 frigorificos. Terrassa grande, ideal para comer e tambem para as crianças brincarem. Tivemos tudo para as 2 criancas que viajavam conosco (cama de bébé e cadeirinhas). Se tiver de falar de um ponto negativo, sao as camas, em 2 quartas as camas faziam muito barulho mal agente se deitava la. E os colchoes tambem ja nao sao muitos novos. E quando esta muito calor, a casa esta muito quente, principalements os quartos virados para sul. Maa como conclusâo: passamos uma linda semana na casa do grego. :)

Wonderful Place to get relaxed with family or friends.

After an initial checkin problem, there was a quick property reaction and everything was solved as wished. Location perfect, Sao Raphael Beach 10 minutes walk, as well as the Marina. House in classic furniture style, has everything, big equiped kitchen (for 11 people), nice Grill at the pool, at night you can delight full stars sky view, no neighbours or annoying sounds. We didn't asked for Pool Heating and it was not neceessary because of weather in august. A nice breeze runs in the afternoons at the garden, so you feel very comfortable until night comes while having dinner.
