'Despite offering an amazing view on the lagoon, the deluxe villa we stayed in (304) was rather disappointing. It looks more as an apartment in a small building of four units than a villa. We could also hear our neighbours as there were communicating rooms simply separated by a door.'

'We stayed here for 13 nights as a multi generational family. Two air conditioning units were installed in the two main bedrooms earlier this year at our request and we were so thankful for that. Unfortunately, two more of the front bedrooms didn’t have air con & were unbearably hot! It was 37 degrees the day we arrived, and the portable fans just didn’t do anything to cool those two rooms. My two year old granddaughter was in one of them, and we couldn’t get the room to cool down below 31...

'First: The property is hard to find. Looking for 23 Lang Street per Expedia. But you have to enter 25 Lang Street. Why can’t they provide accurate directions? Very poor start. Second: The room is huge and clean and well-appointed. Oh wait, the architect forgot something. How about a bathroom door ! And bathroom walls that reach the ceiling! This place is for monkeys, not humans. Made for a unique experience that I’ll hope to not repeat. Somebody didn’t think this place through.'

'We had a great time in Kommetjie! The house is beautiful and just like the pictures. You are a few minute walk to the beach which is ideal, and the local beach is quieter than others that we visited. Corné is very attentive and helpful, frequently offering tips and suggestions for where to eat/visit. These all panned out well and we saw some delightful landscapes and ate great food. If coming to surf, the local Kommetjie beach is more suitable for intermediate level and above. Muizenburg is...
