'This hotel was great! While the immediate neighborhood is a little worse for wear in some ways, don’t let that put you off. This is a really nice hotel in a really nice little town. 'Great hotel, superb kitchen and facilities. The design and all decoration of the facilities is done to a high standard while respecting the old oil mill.

'Cosy, warm friendly family hotel. Exentric interior and great breakfast buffet. Monfortinho is great outside the winter i guess, in december its pretty much deserted, but wandering in nature here is great, and its nice and quit. This hotel i would recommend to anyone in any season. '

'A great little rustic spot in the heart of rural Portugal! Owners take pride in their establishment and absolutely love, entertaining, and having guests. Very authentic Portuguese experience. This is a great location to explore the local castle & ruins and then a short drive to Monsanto 🏰'
