« The lodge has a lot of potential and is set in a beautiful, peaceful location that’s perfect for a quiet getaway. The surroundings were serene, and the atmosphere was relaxing, which we really appreciated. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. There was noticeable dust on furniture and surfaces, and we found cobwebs in the corners of the room and near the ceiling. It made the space feel less well-maintained than expected. « Fantastic place. Went for my husband’s birthday, had drinks, dinner, massages & breakfast. All of the food was amazing & staff were really friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfy. Sadly it was raining too much to use the fire pit, but maybe another time! The room had decent sized mugs with a good selection of tea & coffee and a fairly good hairdryer- we had everything we needed. »

« The property was not that clean. Cobwebs on most curtains and in other areas. Its sleeps 5 people but only enough crockery for 4 and half of the plates had cracks. ( i do have photos). Over all a disappointment. »
